In October 2022, PRR interns were invited by PRR alumni Sadie Cruz to do a special reading at AmeriSchools Academy.
During the reading, PRR interns read a variety of picture books to local Tucson students age K-8th grade. Books were chosen from Sadie’s own classroom library. Interns also engaged with students, asking about their favorite books and acting out scenes from books that were read. There were even middle school students reading picture books to their peers!
